Pretty Pastel Treat Boxes

Are you looking for a way to beat the winter blues? Pretty pastel colored treat boxes will give your spirit a lift when you make them and when you give them away to someone special. Birgit here with you today, to share some sweet pastel treat boxes that you can make and fill with just about anything, to brighten someone’s day.

The Supplies:

For today’s project, I used the following supplies: 83# Lessebo Arctic Blue, 83# Lessebo Sweet Mint, 80# DCS Light Yellow, 83# Lessebo Blossom Pink, 80# Classic Crest Classic Natural White, 80# Classic Crest Solar White, as well as design paper, dies and stamps from my stash.

Die Cutting:

To begin with, I die cut two of the treat box panels out of all the colors listed above, except the Classic Crest Solar White. I also cut design papers from my stash using the accent die from the box set as well as a stitched rectangle die. I was able to coordinate design papers from one pack of paper with all the pastel colors I had chosen for the treat boxes.

Assembling the Treat Boxes:

Next, I assembled the treat boxes according to the directions and adhered the design paper onto each side of the treat boxes using Tombow Mono Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue.

To create labels for each of the treat boxes, I die cut scalloped circles out of all the the pastel colors and regular circles out of the Classic Crest Solar White cardstock. I stamped a generic “just for you” sentiment onto each of the Solar White circles and then mounted the circles onto the scalloped circles.

To finish the project, I glued the scalloped label onto the front of each coordinating treat box.

The design paper I used, came with these cute cut apart tags, which I added to a white ribbon to close the treat boxes with.

The Finished Project:

The pastel colors on each of these treat boxes is so spring-like to me. The boxes are generously sized and can fit a multitude of gift ideas.
