Cute Halloween Treat Boxes
The season for handing out candy is upon us and one thing I especially enjoy making are treat boxes! Birgit here with you today to share how I made these cute Halloween treat boxes. Let’s jump right in.

The Supplies:

Today’s project uses: CCS Gold Glitter Paper, 80# Royal Linen Eclipse Black, 83# Lessebo Sunflower Yellow, 83# Lessebo Brick Orange and 80# DCS Wedding Cake. Other supplies include these dies from my stash.
Creating the Treat Box:

To begin with, I cut five treat boxes out of 80# Royal Linen Eclipse Black cardstock. This is a nice, heavy weight cardstock that will hold up to being handled. The linen texture adds to the look and quality of the cardstock. I added a strip of 1/4″ Score-Tape Premium Double Sided Adhesive to the end tab and constructed the box.

These boxes are about the easiest boxes I’ve ever made!

Next, I cut some designer paper slightly smaller than each side of the box, covering the four sides of the box.
Making the Medallions:

To make the medallions, I used graduating sizes of circles to cut each of the cardstock colors.

I then stacked the circles, adhering them together using Tombow-Mono Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue.

Next, I cut the Halloween images out of Royal Linen Eclipse Black and DCS Wedding Cake, assembling the pieces as necessary and gluing the images onto the medallions.

I also created sentiment tags by stamping the sentiment onto the DCS Wedding Cake and attaching them to a banner that was cut from Royal Linen Eclipse Black.
Decorating the Treat Boxes:

To decorate each box, I glued the medallions onto the front of the boxes.

To the top of each box, I added a tulle bow using my hot glue gun to adhere it. I finished it off by hot gluing the sentiment tag on top of the tulle bow.

Once the boxes were finished, I filled them with candy and they’re ready to gift.
The Finished Project:

They turned out super cute!

Cardstock from CutCardStock.com is high quality and durable, making it well suited for creating treat boxes.

Cute boxes, dies, and paper! I really like the black linen cardstock. This is my shopping go-to for cardstock and envelopes. I recently ordered a good supply of Neenah envelopes. Beautiful quality!
These are absolutely adorable! Love to see everybody’s Halloween crafts… I’m loving it more and more every year!
