Let’s Stay Cozy and Create a Card
With the cooler weather, there’s nothing better than cozying up with a handmade card project. Do you craft more when the weather is cooler? I sure do! Mary here, and today I am sharing a fun “stay cozy” card featuring beautiful card stock from CutCardStock in a soothing winter-inspired palette.

Materials Used:
~Card stock: Blue Raspberry, Sea Foam Green, Heather Green, Galax and Cougar Smooth White
~Concord and 9th Stay Cozy die set
Step-by-Step Directions:
- Die cut the “Stay Cozy” letters from the chosen card stock. Mixing the shades of blue and green gives the card a fresh and calming feel. Isn’t this font so cute?

2. Die cut the outline for the sentiment out of white card stock (see photo)

3. Cut a 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ panel out of white card stock. Using the stitched sweater element dies, die cut the top portion and the bottom portion of the white panel. This subtly enhances the card’s cozy, sweater-like aesthetic.

4. Adhere the white outline to the center of the white panel using liquid glue. Next comes the fun part, inlaying the letters. Since you cut the sentiment out of 4 colors, you can play with the colors until you get a combination you love.
5. Cut a 4″ x 5 1/4″ panel out of Sea Foam Green card stock. Adhere that to the back of the white panel. This will add a little bit of color to the top and bottom portion of the card.
6. Lastly, adhere the completed panel to an A2 card base using liquid glue.
This card’s soft color palette, layered details and clean design are perfect for sending a little comfort to a friend or loved one.
