Thanksgiving Blessings Card
Hi there and Happy Saturday! Can you believe that it is the last day of November?
That means Christmas starts tomorrow!! YAY!
But First…a proper send off to November, the Month of Thanks. Let’s say goodbye with a Thanksgiving Blessings Card curated for the day! Misty here with you today to share a card that I made as a decoration for my Thanksgiving feast. I wanted this card to serve as a reminder of the importance of the glorious day. This Thanksgiving Blessings Card would be where we all write down what we are thankful for this year.
I started with Bright FOIL Silver and used my Cricut to cut out some utensils. I loved how realistic they looked! Next, the addition of some berries and leaves and sprigs to dd just a touch of autumn. For the, I used Stardream Metallic GOLD , Stardream Metallic FLAME (orange), and Lessebo Colors HUNTER GREEN. This was the perfect mixture of CutCardStock to represent fall here in Texas. Once all pieces were cut, I layered them into small bouquets and tied a piece of jute rope around the bases.

Assembly
In addition to the parts and pieces for the bouquet on my Thanksgiving Blessings card, I would also need the card base and a few other things. My card is a Gold Stardream Metallic Gatefold style…which I have become very fond of. The 5×7 size is just perfect for a handmade card to convey a message and also display some beauty.
For my message, I used Lessebo Colors Premium WHITE and ran it through my HP printer. It is a thick cardstock, but not too thick for printing on, and I love the results! I trimmed my message to fit onto the woodgrain paper, then that to fit the buffalo plaid, then that to fit the Lessebo Black Cardstock that I had trimmed to 5×7 inches. Whew! Finally, this was placed onto the gatefold card and adhered to only ONE flap. So Many layers to this card, but super easy to assemble!

Happy Thanksgiving
These Thanksgiving Blessings cards were perfect for my tablescape this holiday. The inside of each card was personalized and had space for each person to write their own thoughts and blessings from 2024. some wrote silly things, some wrote serious blessings, and some chose to not write anything at all. The blank spaces made me wonder if the person had anything to be thankful for…or if they chose to just not share.
How about you…what has 2024 blessed you with? What are you thankful for this year?
It may be too late to do this concept for Thanksgiving, but there is always the New Year! How about a goals card?
Head on over to CutCardStock and gather up your supplies! The GORGEOUS Lessebo Cardstock is on sale right now…but hurry quick before it ends! And HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO Y’ALL!!!!
