A Simple Masculine Card

Hey everybody! A very Happy Monday to you! Can you believe we’re into the second week of January already?! Leslie here with a super easy masculine card that you’re going to love. I found a version of this on Pinterest and it could be tailored to any occasion and made in any color combo. Masculine cards are a stash ‘must-have’ so I created this in Lessebo Sunflower Yellow, Navy Blue and White along with Bright Silver Foil cardstock. The Lessebo line has quickly won my heart and I find I’m reaching for it alot!

Cut Card Base & Layers

Cut a standard A2 side-folding card base, wide strip and inside layering panel from Lessebo White.

Next, cut a wide strip and inside embellishing strip from Lessebo Sunflower Yellow.

Similarly, cut front layering panels and inside embellishing strips from Lessebo Navy Blue and Bright Silver Foil.

Emboss Front Panel & Die Cut Elements

Dry emboss the silver foil panel with a diamond plate embossing folder (or one of your choice).

Using circle dies, cut thin rings from yellow and navy blue cardstock scraps.

Adhere Layers

For the front panel, adhere the embossed silver foil panel to the navy blue layering panel. Next, adhere the wide white strip to the yellow strip and attach it to the front panel with screw brads. Be sure to catch one side of the thin rings underneath the strip.

For the inside panel, adhere the embellishing strips to the top of the white layering panel. Attach the panel to the navy blue layering panel.

Stamp Sentiments

Stamp sentiments on the front and inside panels in navy blue ink.

Complete Project

Arrange the thin circles on the front panel and put a dab of glue under the right side of each to hold them in place.

Adhere the front and inside panels to the card base, which will complete the project.
