Layered Birthday Card
I needed a quick birthday card, so I pulled out Jetstream cardstock as well as Pewter and Wedding Cake White and created this simple but oh so pretty card.
I used my Cricut and Design Space to cut all the panels for this layered card. I made sure to change the image to 5.25″ height since I was creating a standard A2 card. When you keep the image locked in Design Space and change the height, the width will change to keep the proportion. Once cut, I used a combination of my favorite tool (my fingers) and tweezers to remove the cut out pieces.

Starting with the bottom layer and some liquid adhesive, adhere all the layers together. I like to lay an acrylic stamping block on top of the glued layers to help prevent any warpage and to keep the pieces flat.

I decided to add some patterned paper to the bottom layer and add another layer of the beautiful pearlized Jetstream cardstock before adhering the layers to the Cougar Smooth White card base. The card base is a standard A2 size which was made but cutting the 8.5×11 piece of cardstock in half at 8.5×5.5″ then scored at 4.25″ on the 8.5″ side.

Do you agree with my choice of adding the script patterned paper to the back?

Now to add some sparkly ribbon and a stamped sentiment to complete the card. So pretty!
