Easy Beach-Themed Card

Hey everybody! I hope your week is starting out nicely! Leslie here, sharing a beach-themed card design that is super simple and only requires stamped water, an inked sky, and torn kraft paper for the beach sand on the background panel! Then add any other elements you want to create a scene! I used our Brown Bag Kraft that I paired with the amazing Neenah Classic Crest 80# Solar White cardstock. Solar White is and has been a staple in my studio for a number of years and I use it for most of my card bases and layering panels!

Cut Card Base & Layering Panels

Cut a standard A2 size side-folding card base and front and inside layering panels from Neenah Classic Crest 80# Solar White cardstock. Also cut an inside layering panel from Brown Bag Kraft.

Stamp Water & Waves

Using a layering stamp set, stamp the water and waves on a scrap piece of Solar White.

Ink Sky & Tear Kraft for Sand

Using a mini cloud stencil, a blending brush and light blue distress ink, create the sky on the front layering panel. Next, create the beach sand by tearing the top edge of a piece of Brown Bag Kraft.

Adhere Layers

Trim the stamped water, and adhere it to the center of the layering panel with the inked sky. Next, adhere the torn kraft to the bottom portion of the panel, then trim the entire panel. Assemble the inside panel by adhering the inside Solar White layering panel to the kraft panel.

Add Elements for Scene

Affix an Adirondack chair sticker along with a starfish brad and a boat brad to create the scene.

Add Sentiments

Stamp sentiments on the front and inside panels in brown ink. Add 1″ foam strips to the back of the front panel.

Complete Project

Adhere the front and inside panels to the card base, which will complete the project.
