Hi Sharon here, do you love gnomes as much as I do? I have them throughout the house and the yard. So when I saw this Silhouette Store cutting file for a box card I knew I had to make it and Pop Tone Cardstock has the perfect colors for for it.

A variety of colors give this card the spring like look. Classic Crest Solar white was also great for his beard.

Jelly Bean Green works great for the base parts of the card. These are the shadows for the flowers and gnome but also from the box.

Starting with the middle section the decorations are added. The middle was first because the cute gnome needed his face. I use Sour Apple for his hat, Wild Cherry for his shirt and smile and Pink Lemonade for his nose.

Once I add his flower pot I add flowers to the back and front sections.

Making the pretty flowers look like they are growing around him. Pink Lemonade, Grape Jelly and Lemon Drop Cardstock colors are great for these.

Building the card is easy as score lines are already in place. These fold up to allow me to use Tombow Mono Glue to fix the other pieces in place.

The middle section end tabs fold in and adhere to the back panel.

As you can just see I keep these in place with paperclips until the glue dries. The front section then glues to the end tabs from the back piece allowing the box stability so it stands up.

Isn’t it a sweet little box card? Oh and one other thing…… It folds flat and fits in a 5x7in envelope.

I adore this little card and hope that Mr Gnome has given you inspiration for your own crafting.

This is so super cute!!!!
