Hello Fall
Happy Fall Friends. Its Teri from TerisMailbox presenting for Cut CardStock Today. I’m getting in the Fall Mood so that means pulling out the Kraft Cardstock, Leaf Stamps and Fall colored Cardstock to create this colorful Fall Card!

Create the Components
Use Neenah Desert Storm to create your A2 cardbase.
Use an edge type die to cut the stripes in four fall colors. I used one from MyFavoriteThing to cut the curvy stripes. Royal Sundance Burgandy Paper makes a great red strip! Choose a yellow cardstock from the variety of Yellow Cardstock. Basis Green Cardstock is a great green for the next stripe. The last stripe is orange. Choose yours from the variety of Orange Cardstock available.

Savoy 100% Cotton Cardstock has some properties of watercolor paper in that it is able to handle additional water. Use a detailed leaf die and gold emboss the image on the Savoy paper. After embossing, color with your favorite watercolor product. (I used my Zig Markers after painting the image with water). Once the leaf is dry, die cut or fussy cut the image.

Die cut the sentiment in Gold Currency Cardstock as well as another color you used on the stripes. The Gold Currency Cardstock is wonderful for sentiments! It has a mat shine and is super easy to die cut!
Assemble the Fall Card

Begin by lining up the four stripes and use tape on the back to hold them together. Decide where you want the stripes in comparison to the leaf. The center of the card is a great space for the focal leaf! I used a larger leaf and planned to have it hang over the edge. Attach the stripes with your choice of adhesives.
Did you know you can emboss water drops? Using a watercolor brush dipped in water, splatter droplets on the card base after attaching the stripes. Add Gold Embossing powder and heat dry! The cool thing about using water is if you don’t like where the drops land, you can dry the card and start over!
Use foam Tape to pop up the leaf and attach to the right side partially hanging off the side. Trim the leaf.
Glue the gold sentiment on top of the additional one. Offset slightly to expose the bottom color. Attach to the card in the lower left section!

I hope I have inspired you to start your Fall Cards! Take a moment and check out all the great products available from CutCardStock!
