Hey everybody! Has anybody else found themselves in wedding mode this time of year?! Leslie here, sharing a pretty engagement or wedding congrats card featuring our Bright Gold Foil cardstock which I paired with our Basis Green cardstock and Basis Light Lime cardstock. Gold and silver cardstock is a must-have in my studio because it comes in handy for so many different projects. This card has a filigree leaf background cut from the gold foil cardstock which really makes a statement!
Cut Card Base and Layering Panels
I cut a standard A2 size top-folding landscape card base from Neenah Classic Crest 110# Solar White cardstock.
Next, I die cut the front filigree leaf background and a narrow inside frame from Bright Gold Foil cardstock.
And finally, I die cut a smaller inside stitched rectangle panel from Neenah Classic Crest 80# Solar White cardstock.
Adhere Layers and Add Stamping
The gold filigree die cut background was adhered to the front stitched rectangle panel with spray adhesive. Next, I adhered the light green stitched leaf to the filigree background.
The gold frame was adhered to the inside stitched rectangle panel with spray adhesive. I adhered the white stitched rectangle panel along with the light green embellishing strip to the inside panel.
I stamped the front and inside sentiments in dark green ink.
Assemble and Complete Card
I adhered die cut foiled floral elements to the front and inside panels, and adhered the panels to the card base.
The finishing touch was adding several gold pearls to the light green leaf on the front.
