Mostly White Layered Card
Hello friends. It’s Teri back to share a mostly white layered card with a short video for CutCardStock! Layered dies are so much fun to use! One of the themes this month is to use White or Ivory Cardstock. Achieve great depth was achieved by combining white and shades of grey cardstock.

It is amazing the degree of layers you can achieve with one family color of cardstock! Start by dry embossing a 4.0 by 5.5 piece of Cougar 100 lb White Cardstock. Use the Sizzix Swirls 3D Embossing Folder to achieve a geometric layered embossing. The detail from this folder is amazing!

Get the pieces ready
Check out the lovely layered flowers, blooms and branches created with the Bloom Colorize Die from Sizzix! Cut the layers using a variety of cardstock colors. Neenah Environment Moonrock, Cougar White, Discount Cardstock Shadow Grey and Royal Sundance Sunflower cardstocks all work together to define the layers. Use a darker grey cardstock from your stash for the branch layer.
Using your die cut machine, cut all the various pieces from multiple colors of the selected cardstock and arrange in similar shapes on your work surface. Assemble the different elements by adding a small amount of liquid glue and pressing the layers together.
Assemble the Card
Lastly, it is time to assemble the card. Decide on the final arrangement by positioning the pieces in different positions.
Die cut your sentiment strip with the Royal Sundance Sunflower paper using a die from Altenew. Back the die with dark grey paper and add additional strips to pop the strip up.
