Winter is upon us, friends! It’s time to get a little Mo’ crafty and get those last-minute stocking stuffers ready. I have wintery hand sanitizer gift holders for you that will bring some sunshine to any bleary Winter day. This project will be great to give to friends and family to keep them healthy this season!

Box making with card stock is straightforward, with a couple tools. I love using a scoring board to get nice, crisp lines. I’m starting with the Habanero Red card stock strips and the Stardream Metallic Aquamarine card stock. These are both cut to 2.25″ wide by 11″.
Also, I pre-measured my sanitizer to make sure it would fit in the die-cut oval I had in my stash. You could do this with other shapes – a rectangle base, for example. The picture shows an example dotted line where the paper’s strips should be scored and folded for assembly. I did .25″ first, then a 1.25″ spacing for the others. Then I took my oval-shaped die and made a hole the size of my sanitizer. Fold up on the lines, and glue the edge to the inside of the strip.

Putting Them All Together
Now, the fun begins! Firstly, I had these Snowman (Spellbinders) and Mustache (Sizzix) dies in my stash, but there are so many other options that would be great to use, too – penguins, trees, snowflakes, elf hats…to name a few. See what you have available at home or in SVG files.
The Snowman colors are Stardream Metallic White Pluto for the face, Basis Black for the hat, Pearlized Pink Taffeta for the scarf, Adobo Orange for the nose Stardream Metallic Vista for the heart. The Santa mustache is in Stardream Metallic White Pluto, and the nose is Pearlized Pink Taffeta.

Depending on your image’s height, you can cut down and finish off the strip with a pretty tag edge. I used a bookmark punch I have at home. Doing this will turn it into a tag or ornament if you’d like! Final touches include some buttons for Santa, some white and black gel pen accents, and bows at the top of both boxes.
The next item is to find a clever saying (you may know I LOVE a good pun!) and a flag die (Spellbinders). Then, you can either stamp or print a message or the recipient’s name to add to the front. I used pop dots to give this a bit of dimension.

There’s no end to the creativity you can add to these boxes. The Stardream paper is so pretty and shimmery in the light, so check out the color options for yourself on the CutCardStock site! I hope you enjoyed these wintery hand sanitizer gift holders – will you let me know below if you end up giving it a try? Thanks for visiting!
