Festive Fall Mini Sweet Bread Box
Have you ever heard the saying about gift giving, “It’s all about the presentation”? My name is Birgit and I’m so happy to be joining you with my first project as a designer for the Cut Cardstock design team. I enjoy giving small gifts that have that “WOW” factor when presented. For today’s project, I’m going to share how to create festive hand made mini loaf boxes for sweet breads or other small gifts that can be personalized for any occasion or holiday.

Here is a snapshot of the products I used:

I started by cutting a piece of 80# DCS Canvas Textured Ginger Snap cardstock to measure 10 x 7 1/2″.
Score at 2.25” all the way around each side.
Cut the slits that are on the short sides so that the 10” sides have no slits cut.
Cut 2 panels each of printed paper: Long Sides: 5 3/8” x 2 1/8”
Short Sides: 2 7/8” x 2 1/8”

Adhere them to each outside middle section of the box using liquid glue. I used Tombow Mono Liquid Glue. Assemble the box by adding glue to the four corner pieces and attaching them inside the box.

I cut a stitched scalloped trim from the leftover scraps of the 8 1/2 x 11″ piece of Ginger Snap cardstock. Score the straight edge at 1/4″ and fold. You’ll need two trim pieces measuring 5 1/2″ and two measuring 3″. Attach the trim to the inside of the box using liquid glue.

I cut the pumpkins out of Pop Tones Orange Fizz cardstock and the vines out of MirriSparkle Gold Glitter cardstock.

This box is made using Neenah 100# Desert Storm and Gold Glitter Paper for the vines.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project. Feel free to pin this page for future inspiration. Also, be sure to check out the Cut CardStock Facebook page for sales, inspiration and more. Thanks so much for stopping by!
Congrats on joining the team. Sweet packaging for these homemade goodies!
Congrats, Birgit, you are the queen of die cuts, so this does not surprise me. Your bread box is so delightfully cute and the recipient is going to love what is inside as well as the container holding it!!
Congrats Birgit! Your debut projects are so pretty! Love the way you’ve decorated the boxes!
