I’m Proud of You

Hey! Crafty friends, how is your summer going? I can hardly believe it is July 1st!
With graduations and graduation parties on hold last month, this card might come in handy now. I had fun making this Congratulations card to share today. I made this card for a graduate in mind but it could be given to anyone who even just reached a goal.

I started with a star double-sided die that I had and die cut one side out of Silver cardstock and the other side out of Silver Glitter cardstock. Then I trimmed a piece of Gold cardstock down.

I layered all three panels and attached them with wet glue.

I had to cut the panel in half to get the size I wanted for the card which was 5 1/2″ X 4 1/4″. I then placed a star die in the middle held it in place with a piece of low tack tape and ran it through my die cutting machine.

I die cut a banner out of silver card stock.

Then, I stamped the sentiment “Congratulations” onto the banner. I adhered the banner across the middle over the star opening.

I matted all of the layers onto a piece of silver card stock trimmed down to 5 1/2″ X 4 1/4″. Then adhered the whole panel to a 5 1/2″ X 4 1/4″ side folding card base.

I added a few different sequins to finish the card off.

Thanks for stopping by today!
