Family Birthdays Tracker Tags
Who else is terrible at keeping track of all your extended family members’ birthdays? 🙋 C’mon folks, please make me feel better and tell me I’m not the only one!

Well lucky for us, I created a cute little system using tags to track all of those birthdays and you can make one too!
For this project, I used a beautiful cardstock called Midnight Blue from the Royal Sundance Linen collection. It feels luxurious with its linen-like texture.

My good ‘ol crafting tool, Silhouette CAMEO, helped me in two ways on this project:
- In the Silhouette Studio Design Software, I resized a tag shape cut file to 2.25in tall by 4.05in wide. Then, I filled the page with as many tags as possible.
- Note: feel free to resize your tag shapes to whatever size your heart desires! I set the action on these tag shapes to “CUT.”
- There should be a total of 12 tags, one for each month.
- Then I switched out the blade for Silhouette’s silver metallic sketch pen. This ink contrasted beautifully with the dark navy blue cardstock. I used this ink to “sketch” the dates and names of each family member.
After sketching and cutting the tags, I wondered what else can be used on the Royal Sundance Linen cardstock. After all, paper crafting is fun when you mix media!
With white acrylic paint and a thin paintbrush, I painted each month on the opposite side of the tag. I loved the “pop” of white!

Lastly, I held the tags together with a simple metal key ring so that I can hang it on my pegboard that is front and center in my craft space. Super easy project but so so useful! 🙌
