Congratulations! We’re Proud of You

Hi crafty friends!
Summer is such a busy month for graduation parties or weddings. It’s always nice to have Congratulation cards on hand when you need them.
To make this card, I started with Gold Glitter card stock and die cut a  5-1/2″ X 4-1/4″ rectangle out. Since I was going to be covering the middle, I also die cut the sentiment “Congratulations” out of the center of the Gold Glitter card stock.
 I die cut a rounded corner rectangle which was smaller than the glitter rectangle out of Curious Metallic card stock in White Silver. After I die cut it out, I ran it through my die cutting machine in a floral embossing folder.
To help the embossed flowers pop off the paper, I colored them in with some Spectrum Noir alcohol markers.
For the second part of the sentiment, I die cut a banner out of Curious Metallic card stock in White Silver. Then I stamped “We’re proud of you” with Versamark ink and heat embossed it with WOW Embossing Powder in Metallic Gold Rich Pale.
I adhered the whole card panel to an A2 Card Base. I love how this card came together. I love all of the sparkles from the glitter and the shimmer of the metallic card stock.
