I can’t resist a retro rainbow, so with St. Patrick’s Day coming up, I had to include one on my clean and simple card for today.
It’s easy to create rainbow stripes using just two pieces of Post-It Tape and the grid on your craft mat for a guide. I masked off very tiny stripes onto an A2 sized notecard I created using Cougar Super Smooth 100# cardstock. After, I blended a variety of Distress Oxide Inks to create this tiny rainbow.
I added the main die cut sentiment and some cute little shamrocks using Curious Metallic cardstock in Botanical. For the shamrocks, I first heat embossed them in white before trimming them out. I love how crisp that embossing looks against the shimmery green!
Be sure to head over to the CutCardstock shop to take a look at all the shimmery color options for Curious Metallic cardstock. Thanks so much for joining me today!
