How many “hello” dies does one card maker need? I say, you can’t have too many! For my project today, I’m utilizing a few of my favorite “hello” dies for a clean and simple, colorful card. Pop Tone card stock, on sale this month, adds the perfect “pop” of color.
I started off by running a large “hello” die through my Sizzix machine using Cougar White Super Smooth Cardstock–I like the 100lb. Then, I took the letters and ran them through again in a dotted embossing folder.
I felt like the card was going need a little bit of a flat layer underneath my die cuts for interest, so I added a stenciled flower layer with Distress Oxide ink to the upper left corner of a white notecard.
I’ll confess, I have way more “hello” dies than this, LOL! If you are the same, you could try this project with every color in the Pop Tone rainbow! Thanks for joining me today.
Cute card – so many interesting layers. Love the dots on the white hello and the partial stencil coloring is the perfect background!
