Fall Leaves Say Goodbye to Summer
As the the weather begins to change, fall is not far behind. Lisa M. here today with a fall themed card. I just love the fall colors. This month at CutCardStock all brown, orange, and gold papers are on sale. What a great way to get a jump on creating some fall cards.
I began by creating an A2 card from Stardream Metallic Gold Cardstock and layered a piece PopTones Hot Fudge Cardstock on top of it.
Next, I die cut leaves from PopTone Cardstock in Tangy Orange and Orange Fizz and Basis Cardstock in Gold, Light Brown, and Dark Orange (1).
To create the texture of the leaves:
2. spray the leaves with Ranger’s Ink Refresher
: 3. let it sit for a minute or two (you can see how the color of the paper begins to change: 4. now crinkle up the paper and carefully unfold the leaves; 5. last ink the edges and tops with Gathered Twigs Distress Ink

.Last, I attached the leaves to the front of the card. I also added a few acorns and stamped a sentiment from Riley & Co.
