Thank You Card with Flavours Gourmet
These colours were perfect for the jewel toned card I wanted to create. I used two different shades of green for the leaves and two different shades of grey. I die cut multiples of each shape because I wanted to stack them and make them more dimensional. I used Tombow Mono Multi adhesive to put them together. I love that stuff. It’s super sticky so you don’t need to use a lot. Which means it lasts a long time!
For the sentiment I used a few layers of a darker grey for the shadow (the lighter complementary grey was used for the card base) and then I topped it with a white card stock.
I curved the sentiment around the top part of the card. This is really easy to do with die cut sentiments. They bend easy!
I decided to back the flowers with vellum because I wanted to lighten it up just a bit. You can see I did stamp a background image to give it some interest and added some burnt orange tidbits here and there to add another complementary color.
And that’s all for today! Very simple card but I think it turned out quite elegant with all the different colours of card stock.
Thanks for joining me.
Until next time,
xoxo
