Wine Bottle Tag Tutorial
Many times I find myself in need of a quick birthday, anniversary or hostess gift. This project is perfect to quickly create a gift tag that is ready to hang on a great bottle of wine. Simply change the color scheme and sentiment to fit your occassion!
Wine Bottle Tag Tutorial by Amber Lawrence
Supplies:
-
Brown Bag Kraft cardstock, cut to 3” x 6 ½”, plus scrap large enough for sentiment

Coordinating patterned paper, cut to 2 7/8” x 2 ¾”
-
Matching ribbon
-
1 3/8” circle punch
-
Fancy label punch (or other shape for your sentiment)

Sentiment stamp and coordinating ink
-
Favorite adhesive, including dimensional

Scissors and scoring tool
Steps:
Stamp your sentiment on Kraft scrap and punch it out. Set aside.
Score 3 x 6 ½” piece of Kraft at 2 ¾” on the long length. This will create a square area. Punch a circle in the center of your square area.
Glue down the piece of patterned paper, leaving a small but even border of Kraft around 3 sides of it.
Tie a piece of ribbon, either with a bow or knot.
Add your sentiment punch, using foam adhesive for a little dimension.
Then simply hang your wine tag on your favorite bottle and you’ve got a great gift, ready at hand!
