Shabby Chic Floral Card Using Silver Papers

Hi, all! Mynn here again with a card showcasing some beautiful silver papers found in the CutCardStock online store! Today, I’m sharing how to create a shabby chic floral card with a recessed doily panel. Check out the silver and white papers I used…

The first step was to get my recessed panel created. I started by die cutting a doily out of a Stardream Metallic Silver panel.

Next, I took the doily piece and cut the center out. I did this to make sure that more of the Silver Chevron Glitter Paper would be shown.

I then layered the Stardream Metallic Silver cut panel onto the Silver Chevron Glitter Paper using some 3D Double Sided Foam Adhesive Tabs. The glitter paper was added to a Classic Crest Solar White card base before this piece was attached.

The doily portion of the card was added with a Tombow Dot Patterned Adhesive Runner. This is where the recessed panel comes in. The shine from the papers is so pretty!

Next, I created a shabby flower out of Magenta Basis cardstock. I sprayed the punched flowers, shaped them, then layered them together.

I then punched and shaped some leaves using Golden Green and Green Basis cardstocks. The Green Basis leaves are not pictured, but shown on the finished project below.

The last step was to create a banner using Classic Crest Solar White card for my sentiment. I chose a fun floral sentiment to go with the flower I created.

I layered all the pieces together to form my finish project. The colored Basis cardstocks look SO amazing against the Stardream Metallic Silver and Silver Chevron Glitter Papers, don’t you think? I’d love to hear your thoughts on this card in the comments below!
