Winter Wishes card with Copic coloring, and a winner!

After those amazing posts from our Holiday Countdown series, I am so in the Christmas crafting mood! My list of things to do grows each day, but I wanted to take some time out to make a card that could be handy for the season, not really specific to any holiday.

I printed my image and colored it on Neenah Solar White cardstock. This is really one of my favorite to use for anything that I do on white cardstock. It’s become such a “go to” for me, that I recently ordered A2 flat cards to have on hand as easy card fronts. They can be stamped on or colored on, and then layered on to a card base.

For this image, I created slightly larger piece from Stardream Metallic Emerald to really draw out the green in her outfit. To make things super easy, I layered both of those on a pre-cut, pre-scored A2 sized card made from Cougar white cardstock.

To add a little bit of sparkly, I colored over the fur on her hat with the Wink of Stella clear glitter brush pen. I also used the Signo white gel pen to add the light refection back into her eyes.

I also have a winner to announce today….. thanks for all your wonderful comments throughout the holiday series. We chose a random winner – Congrats to Laura C. aka Scrapaddict! Check your email inbox Laura.
