Hi CutCardStock fans! Christine joining you today. Two days ago it was over 60 at my house. Today it is 20! Seems like the perfect time to share a winter snowflake project with you! Today I am going to show you how the Stardream Metallic Cardstock absolutely shines when you use it on Christmas ornaments!
I created these ornaments as favors when I recently hosted a table at a Christmas dinner. My table was decorated with silvers and aquas so these glittered up ornaments were perfect – but a little too drab on their own! Plus adding my own personal touch to them guarantees that my fabulous gifts are going home with a one of a kind present!
So to add some extra pizazz, I simply punched out some snowflakes. I only added five snowflakes to each ornament. I used Stardream Metallic Crystal White Cardstock on the silver ornaments and Stardream Metallic Silver Cardstock on the aqua ornaments.
Glitter can be tricky to get something to stick to but the mini Gllue Dots did the job perfectly!
I also added gems to the middle of each snowflake that coordinated with the colors of the table. I topped each ornament with White Sheer Organza ribbon tied into a knot.
