When I was a little girl my mom use to always tell me If you want a Beautiful Life you make it so (SEW). She taught me to sew, crochet, paint and most importantly that paper & glue are the most inexpensive way to create art. I remember for Holidays we would make banners, table decorations and all kinds of projects to decorate the house. We didn’t have a fancy house, or a lot of money but she made it so Beautiful in my eyes, simply by all the touches that she put together. So much of what she taught me STUCK :’ )
I always look forward to Holidays because I know it’s a great opportunity to make that “Beautiful Life” for my kids that my mom talked about. I know that I don’t have to spend a ton of money to give my kids those little touches I longed for when I was just a little girl. Valentine’s is my absolute favorite!!!!
