Yay we have some fantastic designers I can’t wait show case. Gorgeous projects and a ton of inspiration!
We asked the very TALENTED SplitCoastStampers designers known as “The Dirty Dozen” to create some projects/cards with our product.
The first designer I want to showcase is so super, duper talented that I spent a good morning enjoying all of her fabulous inspiration on her Blog.
Ashley Cannon Newell designs are so innovative and just simply Gorgeous !
Here are a few fantastic ideas from Ashley:
Ashley said she decided to try out our Pocket Fold Invitation.
I’ve always wanted to make these, but it is super difficult because cardstock just is not large enough. Then you have to deal with the pocket and everything, which means you might as well buy one, right?! This was super easy to design because the template was already there! I trimmed down the top part a bit to show off the label a little better, but everything else remained the same. I even ran the top portion through my Cuttlebug (twice) to get the polka dot embossed image! On the inside, I used some of their shimmer cardstock. It prints extremely well.
She also created this fantastic Place Card:
I adhered a matching label, with an attendees name to a place card. The label was stamped using Waltzingmouse Very Vintage Labels No. 4. The “antique key” is a rubber stamp by Rubber Stampede (picked up from Michaels or A.C. Moore). The decorative trim is a punch by EK Success (picked up from Michaels). The name on the place card was stamped using Papertrey Ink’s fresh alphabet. The invite was created in Photoshop CS4.
Thank you Ashley for bringing us a great idea on how to use our Pocket Folds and Placecards.
