Floral Spring Thank You Card
Judy R here today with a pretty floral spring thank you card using fabulous cardstock from CutCardStock! It features layered die cuts with fun rain boots and a delicate spray of favorite spring flowers: daffodils and tulips!

Step 1 – Gather Your Supplies
Gather your supplies and choose your papers/cardstock. Today I am using dies from Spellbinders Paper Arts (Rainboot Bouquet), but you can choose any similar dies in your stash. Many companies offer something similar to the ones I am using. If you save your paper scraps, this is the perfect opportunity to use those, and determine your colors from the scraps you have. The cardstock I am using today:
Classic Crest Solar White
Pop-Tone A6 Folded Discount Card Stock Blank DIY Cards
Basis 8.5×11 Light Yellow
Astrobrights Gamma Green
Poptone Blue Raspberry
DCS Discount Card Stock: Smooth 4×6 inch Pewter Grey (not shown)
I had also pulled some Pop Tone Pink Lemonade CS for the flowers, but ended up just using the Cotton Candy and ink.

Step 2 – Card Bases and Die Cutting
My card base is 4.25×11″ from the Classic Crest, scored in half and folded. The mat base is also from the same cardstock, cut 4×5.25″ and embossed with a Pinkfresh Studio coverplate. All of the flowers and foliage were cut at the same time on my large electronic die cutting machine.

Step 3 – Shading and Assembling the Die Cuts
I like to use liquid glue, adhesive tape, and foam tape to assemble my designs. I used a couple of Pinkfresh Studio dye inks to give some dimension to the flowers/foliage and change the color of the pink. For a little extra bling, I added some crystal gems on the flower centers and to the card base.

The sentiment is from Playful Petals Dies (PinkfreshStudio) and stamped in VersaClair Nocturne ink.
This floral spring thank you card is perfect for sending a little garden in an envelope across the miles to brighten someone’s day!
