March Flowers Card
Hello, friends! Toni here sharing a cute spring card inspired by the proverb “April showers bring May flowers.” Although I realize it’s only mid-March, I couldn’t help myself as my early daffodils and hyacinth started blooming in February. I love the pops of color in my garden!

Firstly, I diecut a Pop Tone Sno Cone cardstock panel with a Lawn Fawn Rainy Coverplate. Then, using liquid adhesive, I backed this panel with Stardream Metallic Eris cardstock. Who doesn’t love some shine?
The Mouse
Discount Sand Castle Tan, Royal Sundance Kraft, and Lessebo Blossom Pink cardstocks comprise the adorable Memory Box Rainy Day Mouse. For a classic raincoat, I used Pop Tone Lemon Drop cardstock with a bit of Catherine Pooler Tiara sponged along the edges.
I had considered brushing Glossy Accents onto the raincoat for a fabulous rain slicker look; however, I didn’t think of that until after I had assembled the mouse and just knew I would get Glossy Accents on everything.

the sentiment
As can be seen, the sentiment banner serves as grounding for the mouse and helps balance the different elements.
I stamped the Lawn Fawn Henry’s Build-A-Sentiment Spring words with Versamark onto a scrap of Discount Sand Castle Tan cardstock.
May Flowers
My last step involved assembling the Memory Box Daisy Umbrella from Stardream Metallic Amethyst cardstock sponged with a bit of Catherine Pooler Flirty Fuschia ink. Naturally, I chose Pop Tone Gumdrop Green cardstock for the handle.

As always, thanks for stopping by and checking out my card. Have a great rest of your day!
