Easy Wintry Gift Tags

As the Christmas season draws near, I’ve been working on creating tags to add to my gifts this year. Birgit here with you today, sharing how I made these easy wintry gift tags using amazing supplies from CutCardStock.

The Supplies:

Today’s project uses: 80# DCS Wild Blueberry, 80# DCS Blue Calico, 83# Lessebo Arctic Blue, 80# Neenah Classic Crest Solar White, 65# Pop-Tone Hot Fudge and 83# Lessebo Brick Orange, as well as dies from my stash. Let’s get started.

Die Cutting:

To begin with, I did all the die cutting right from the beginning, cutting the tags out of DCS Wild Blueberry, the snowflakes out of Lessebo Arctic Blue and the snowman pieces out of the remaining colors. I cut enough pieces to create four gift tags.

Assembling the Dies:

Once all the pieces were cut, I glued the die cut pieces together using Tombow Mono Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue. I think it’s wonderful that you can coordinate colors so easily. There is such a wide variety of colored cardstock available in the store.

I decided to add a bit of texture to the DCS Wild Blueberry tags by running the tags through my die cutting machine. The snowflake embossing folder makes the perfect wintry scene for the snowmen.

Assembling the Tags:

Following that step, I adhered the large snowflake onto the tag and glued the snowman on top of the snowflake as seen in the photo above.

I then glued the sentiment to the bottom of each tag.

Finally, I attached sheer ribbon to the top of each tag, finishing this project.

The Finished Project:

The finished tags are super cute and ready to be used this Christmas season.

I truly enjoy using all the quality cardstocks found in the CutCardStock store. They offer a rainbow of colors, and a variety of weights and textures. Mixing and matching cardstock is easy and fun!
