Pinterest-inspired card

Hi everyone! Natalie here today with a Pinterest-inspired card. I tried something out of my usual style. Pinterest is always a great place to find inspiration, so I browsed for some fresh color combinations. This was a great way to shake things up and feel inspired again. I had fun using lots of colorful cardstock! Let’s take a look at how it turned out.

Now let’s look at my inspiration photo

Isn’t that coat the cutest? Its bright, cheerful colors make it a perfect source of inspiration!

I chose a fun mix of cardstock colors. Each shade adds its own personality and helps tie the whole look together. Here are the colors I used:

Putting it all together

I started by cutting squares about ¾ inch each. For my squares, I used a die, but a paper trimmer would work just as well. The top middle square was placed first. Next, I went row by row, which made it easy to keep them in a straight line.

Next, I die-cut all the other images, the confetti, and the vellum background. I embossed the sentiment in the center of the vellum piece. Next, I added the ‘Happy Birthday’ sentiment along with some confetti for a festive touch.

Pinterest is such a great spot for color inspiration. CutCardStock has pretty much every shade you’ll need. It makes bringing your ideas to life easy and fun. I hope you were inspired by my card today, and would love to see your Pinterest-inspired cards.
