Watering Can Friendship Card
Hi everyone, happy Thursday – I hope you’re having a great week! I have to ask if any of you are fans of colors in the orange family? Leslie here, sharing a tutorial for making a pretty watering can friendship card in a coral/peach/orange combo. Unfortunately, the Basis Coral cardstock I used is no longer on the website. However, any coral colored cardstock would compliment the Bazzill Peach Canvas Textured cardstock and Pop Tone Tangy Orange cardstock. I also used Neenah Classic Crest Solar White along with Altenew stamps and dies, crocheted lace and a scalloped border die from my stash.

Cut Card Base & Layers
Start by cutting a standard A2 size side-folding card base from coral cardstock.
Next, cut a front layering panel and front/inside scalloped borders from Bazzill Peach Canvas Textured cardstock.
Similarly, cut a front embellishing strip and inside layering panel from Pop Tone Tangy Orange cardstock.
Also cut an inside sentiment panel from Neenah Classic Crest Solar White.
Lastly, cut a length of white crocheted ribbon.

Adhere Layers
For the front, adhere the Bazzill Peach Canvas Textured cardstock layering panel and scalloped border to the card front. Also adhere the crocheted ribbon and thin Pop Tone Tangy Orange cardstock embellishing strip down the edge of the layering panel.
Now, for the inside panel, adhere the scalloped border to the Neenah Classic Crest Solar White sentiment panel. Then, adhere this to the Pop Tone Tangy Orange cardstock panel.

Create Watering Can Focal Image
First, stamp the floral outline image in black ink on Solar White cardstock and fill it in with the other stamps in the set.
Color the leaves with green alcohol markers.
Fussy cut the focal image.
Die cut the watering can from coral, Bazzill Peach Canvas Textured cardstock and Pop Tone Tangy Orange cardstock. Assemble the watering can and cut a slit in the top to insert the florals.

Adhere Focal Image
Using liquid glue and adhesive foam squares, adhere the focal image to the card front.

Add Sentiments
Stamp the front and inside sentiments in black ink on a Solar White scrap. Either fussy cut or use the coordinating die(s), and adhere them to the card front and inside panel.

Complete Watering Can Friendship Card
Add several pearls to the card front, and adhere the inside panel to the card base. This will complete the project.
