Intertwined Pups Card for your BFF!

Hey everybody! Can you believe tomorrow is Thanksgiving already? Where has this month gone?! Leslie here, sharing a tutorial for making a fun and very easy interactive card. This card features two super cute pups cut from Sandcastle cardstock. I used Lessebo Cement Gray for the flat card base and 80# Solar White for the sentiment and signature panel. I’ve had these Waffle Flower Intertwined Pups Dies for several months and couldn’t wait to use them. These lab pups are absolutely adorable!

Cut Intertwined Pups Card Base & Layers

Cut a flat A2 size card base from Lessebo Cement Gray.

Next, cut a layering panel and embellishing strip from a dog-themed patterned paper in your stash.

Lastly, cut a signature panel for the card back from 80# Solar White cardstock.

Die Cut & Assemble the Pups

Die cut the two pups from Sandcastle cardstock. Also die cut their bandanas from coordinating patterned papers in your stash.

Color the pups’ noses with a brown alcohol marker and adhere their bandanas.

Adhere Intertwined Pup Card Layers

Adhere the pups to the outer edges of the flat card base. Additionally, glue the patterned paper layer to the flat card base to hide the tabs.

Glue the embellishing strip to the top of the white layering panel that will go on the back of the card.

Add Sentiments

Stamp the front sentiment on a scrap piece of Solar White cardstock and tear it across the top and bottom. Adhere it to the top of the card front.

Next, stamp an additional sentiment on the back layering panel. Additionally, die cut a bone from an additional die set in your stash. Color it with an alcohol marker and affix to the lower left corner.

Complete Intertwined Pups Card

To complete your card, add a couple enamel dots to the sentiment strip on the card front.
