Hey Friend!

Hey crafty friends!

It’s Ceal again and today I am sharing this super cute gnome card. Have you ever played with paper dolls? These gnomes from Taylored Expressions are so fun to play with and our colored cardstock make the perfect outfits and such. At any rate, I had so much fun die cutting and putting her together.

I used COUGAR Opaque NATURAL 100 lb. Card Stock for the body and shaded it with Gina K Designs Barely There ink. She has on a cozy sweater made from Basis AQUA 80lb Cardstock and black shiny shoes made from Stardream Metallic ONYX (Black) 105lb Cardstock. I also had to make her a redhead and don’t you love that floral hat. With it being fall I thought a pumpkin would be cute for her to carry.

For the background I used some patterned paper and die cut the friend into a portion of it. I cut the word friend out of gold and pieced it in the negative space. To finish the card I stamped the word hey in front of friend and popped the gnome up. I also added some white gel pen highlights.

At the present time, I still have no internet and am hot spotting from my husband’s work phone. If there is a positive thing about it, it is that I won’t have a bill this month.

If you pray, please continue to pray for Western North Carolina. There are still people who have no power, water, internet and cell. We have people living in shelters and tents. It’s just sad y’all and depressing. It’s all I can do to craft I just want to help as much as I can. As soon as life gets halfway back to normal maybe things will start to get better.
