Just Married

While coming up with embellishments for my nephew’s wedding album, I knew I had to create a truck of some sort. The bride & groom are members of a mini truck club and their wedding photos sure do show that! I love how unique these photos are!

There were so many trucks in Cricut Design Space, it was hard to decide which one to use but I decided on thes one with a rear view image. The original image was basic black/white & red but I needed it to coordinate with the wedding.

It’s a little hard to tell, but the border is Navy. The other colors are Peach, Burgundy and Orange Zest and Orange Fizz. I created base pages prior to printing photos and by using my cardstock from CutCardStock, I was able to use lots of oranges, navy and fall colors to coordinate with their wedding colors.

The truck did not include the floral swag so I used punches to add some greenery & flowers.

The beautiful swags were also cut using the Cricut. The flowers looked flat and one dimensional so I added some inking and pen marks to dress them up. Basically the same colors were used on the swags as the truck.

I added the random stamping as an afterthought. Although I love orange, it just seemed like too much orange! I needed to break it up a little.

I’ve decided to step down from my Design team position so this is my last post as a Design Team member. Even though I had a lot of fun, life is happening and it’s time to step down. I hope I was able to inspire you to create some great paper projects!
