Multi Photos Two Page Layout
Do you like including lots of photos on your scrapbook layouts? Me too! I also love using photos of different sizes. It adds so much interest to your page and you don’t need lots of additional embellishments to tell your story.
All of the embellishments and title for this two page spread were cut using the Cricut. The stars are a simple one layer shape but cut in multiple sizes and colors. The walking themed cuts were all found in Cricut Design Space under marathon, race, or walking. Cardstock colors used are Blast Off Blue, Lunar Blue, Red Pepper, Yellow Jacket, Cougar White, Dark Grey and Black Licorice.
Once I knew that I was going to use the patterned paper for the center of each layout, I gutted the center of each grey cardstock base. To gut or not to gut? There are good reasons to gut your paper and this is how I make my decision. 1.) is the base a heavy cardstock 2.) will it hold up the other elements of the layout 3.) will I be able to use the extra for other things (like photo mats, etc.) or 4.) how much of the base cardstock do I have – like is it the last sheet of that color? Once you decide to gut or not, go for it.
To gut the base, use your paper trimmer to place the cutting blade at the 2″ mark and then cut down to 2″ in from the next edge. Do not cut all the way through the paper! I use 2″ as my norm since most times my center piece is 11×11. Gutting at 2″ in allows room for adhesive, but you can adjust this measurement for your need.

Look at all those fun stars! And I had lots of fun adding them to both sides of this two page spread.
Although there is only one photo on the right side, there are eight photos on the left! Which means there are nine photos on this two page spread. A little white splatter, some pen borders were the only extras that were needed to complete the layouts.

Strips of Cougar White cardstock were used for the journaling strips to complete the spread. I know it’s pretty simple, but scrapbooking doesn’t always need to have all the bells and whistles!
Lots of photos + a title + fun embellishments + journaling = a complete & fabulous scrapbooking layout!
