Do you love free SVG files? As a graphic designer, I love creating SVG files, and I will be sharing projects and free SVG files with you. Hi, I am Janet from Try it – Like it – Create it, and I have a cardstock basket cut file to share with the CutCardStock design team.

basket

3D cut files are so fun to put together. I really enjoy the useful ones like this basket. You can use it for a quick gift wrap, storage, or as an Easter basket. Just cut, fold, and tape it together, and it is done. But you can add your own embellishments to make it your own.

Solar White

To make the basket, I used Classic Linen Card Stock in Solar White. At 100# cover, it is a very sturdy paper and works well for this project.

Tip: Cutting the Classic Linen Card Stock on a Cricut Maker, I cut the design twice at the 100# card stock setting with more pressure.

cut out

The cut card stock file looks like the above image after cutting on your personal cutting machine. Fold along the score lines.

taping

Tape the four tabs with double-sided tape or use a tacky adhesive. Then just attach.

Now fill the cardstock basket as you desire and embellish. I tied a ribbon at the top. You can do the same and use further elements to style it as you’d like.

If you would like the directions to fold the mini basket they can be found here: mini basket tutorial.

Hi, I am Janet. I am married to my husband Dan and we have two teenaged girls. Nowadays I work from home. I have always loved to create. As a child, one of my favorite things to do was talk my mom into a trip to the craft store. I took my love of art and craft and studied Graphic Design in college. Then I pursued an MFA in Graphic Design and an MS in New Media. I left a prosperous career as a college professor to raise our girls. Looking for a creative outlet, I started a website; Try it - Like it - Create it
