Warmest Thoughts and Wonderful Christmas!

Do you make Christmas cards or buy store-bought ones. I think Christmas cards are fun to make. This card came together really fast and I love the subtle shimmer that the Stardream Metallic card stock which doesn’t show up well in pictures.

I trimmed a piece of Stardream Metallic card stock in Amethyst and Lagoon down to 5 1/2″X 4″. I ran both through the dye cutting machine with a snowflake die. I took all of the pieces out of the Lagoon die cut piece. I kept the pieces in the Amethyst one which is important for paper piecing.

I adhered the Lagoon card stock to a piece of scrap paper. To do the paper piecing, I drop a little glue into the small opening and then place my card stock over it and pop the pieces out into the openings.

I stamped the sentiment “Sent with Warmest Thoughts and Best Wishes for a Wonderful Christmas and a Very Happy New Year” with Versafine black ink and heat set it with glitter embossing powder.

I cut the sentiment up into small strips and cut out three of the snowflakes. I only wanted part of the original sentiment I skipped the “and a Very Happy New Year”.

I adhered the sentiment strips over the paper piecing and added a few of the snowflakes. I then adhered the whole panel to a 5 1/2″ X 4 1/4 white card base.
