Three Dimensional Santa Drawer

Greetings Crafty Friends! Today I present this dimensional project for CutCardStock. This was quite an involved project that took several days to complete.

I started by water coloring the galaxy background on Savoy 100% Cotton Cardstock. This is a great medium for water coloring! The truck is also created on the same paper using Distress inks and a smooshing technique.

I had sooooo much fun creating the individual pieces and assembling them.
The different cardstocks I used for each piece are listed below:
Santa: Smooth Red Wagon Cardstock, Classic Crest Red Pepper Cardstock, Curious Metallic Virtual Pearl Cardstock, Dolphin Gray Cardstock, plus a variety of miscellaneous cardstock from my stash.
Snowman: Curious Metallic Pearl Cardstock plus miscellaneous scraps.
Bicycle: Curious Metallic Electric Blue, Curious Metallic Lustre, plus miscellaneous scraps.
Here is the video outlining the process. Note: Santa is not included in the video as his assembly was quite long. Sizzix dies as well as SimonSays dies are used in the project.
Here is a closeup view showing the many layers that add dimension.

I hope you enjoyed this post. I had a lot of fun creating it!
