Mama to Bee Banner

One of my best friends is expecting her first baby and we’re planning a bee themed shower for her. I love using this bright foil card stock to make banners because it has a nice weight to it and the foil finish makes it a great backdrop for photos.
I laid out the letters in the Cricut Design Space and then used my Cricut Explore Air 2 to cut them all out.  For nine letters I used five pieces of 8.5 x 11 paper.
Once I got them all cut out, I used my hole punch to so I could thread my string through to hang this nicely on the wall.
After I hole punched all the letters I decided to add some cutout bees to the banner as well. I used Classic Crest Epic Black 130lb card stock so these have a sturdy weight and aren’t flimsy. I added some of my gold foil stock scraps to add some detail to the bees and tie them in with the script lettering.
I’m so excited to make more bee themed decor and see this banner tie everything together.
