Bold blooms and a bold sentiment are perfect for my cheerful friendship card today.
I have been wanting to try out this new stamp set from Fun Stampers Journey called Sweet Blossom and thought that Pop-Tone card stock colors would be a great compliment to the solid stamping.
Since the stamps are more solid with a bit of a silk screen style to them, I used Hero Arts’ Unicorn White Pigment Ink to stamp the tulips. I stamped a variety using Banana Split, Berrylicious and Grape Jelly Pop-Tone card stock colors and trimmed them out with my scissors. I used some Lawn Fawn Sugarplum ink on the bottoms of the purple flowers as the highlight.
I have been loving my pack of Cougar A2 white flat cards for quick front panels. My big sentiment from Mama Elephant fits perfectly.
I trimmed a little off the edges to line the panel up with the top right corner of a Cougar A2 folded card and the tulips fit perfectly around the left edge. I love the look of the white pigment ink with the Pop-Tone colors peeking through on the tulips.
Be sure to head over to the CutCardstock shop to see all the Pop-Tone colors on sale this month. Thanks for joining me today!
