Father’s Day Candy Boxes
I’ve always been a fan of containers and boxes, so whenever a holiday or birthday rolls around, I love making gift boxes instead of buying them. Here are two fun candy boxes you can make for Father’s Day.
Supplies needed:
–Basis Cardstock in black and white
–Metallic Silver Cardstock
–Tombow Dual Adhesive
–Double sided foam adhesive strips
I began by cutting out all my box pieces with my Silhouette Cameo cutting machine (no need for scissors for this project!)
Next, I used a few foam adhesive strips to adhere the black contrast piece to the white box, along with the printed piece. I love the Basis Cardstock because it’s nice and thick but can still go through my printer with ease.
For added flare, I cut out a tiny wrench out of heavy silver cardstock.
Then I used the Tombow glue to adhere the tabs together and finish the candybar box. Isn’t it fun?
For the shirt box, I also used my Tombow glue to adhere the shirt pieces together.
Then I assembled the front shirt piece to the large black box piece.
I love that it looks like a men’s suit!
After assembly, these boxes will fit candybars and goodies to celebrate your dad, husband, or any fatherly figure in your life.
Be sure to snag some Basis Cardstock and make some fun boxes of your own!
Happy crafting!
