Easter Wishes

The pastel colors of the Easter season are so pretty.  I love all the mints, pinks and robin egg blues. I thought that Curious Metallic cardstock in Aloe/Pale Green would be such a nice choice to create a  card inspired by this color palette.
To start, I embossed a panel of Cougar Super Smooth #100 cardstock with a “woven” embossing folder.  I also created an A2 sized notecard using the Aloe/Pale Green Curious Metallic cardstock

I created a frame in the panel by die cutting a circle into the middle.  I stamped a sentiment with Versamark Ink using the cut panel as my guide and heat embossed it using a pretty lilac colored embossing powder.
I love the minty shimmer against the purple!
I colored a few Easter-themed stamps with Copics and trimmed them out with scissors.
After adhering the white frame to the front of my Curious Metallic note card using foam tape, I added the stamps using Glue Dots.  I used a little grass border I cut from more of the pale green card stock to give the stamps a place to sit.
It’s hard to tell from the photo, but I added a little bit of Spectrum Noir Clear Shimmer Pen to the sheep.

This card definitely makes me think of Spring :).
Be sure to head over to the CutCardstock shop to see all the shimmery colors of Curious Metallic that are on sale this month.  Thanks for joining me today!
