Hi Friends!! kel here today 🙂 Hope everyone is having a wonderful summer (or winter!). We’re in our last week of summer break so spending as much time together as a family as possible before fixing our routine back to a school-oriented one! I made a quick and easy card today using a paper punch and some super shiny Glitter Cardstock in Silver and Gold.
My trick to laying out these stars evenly is to just tack down the end of a single arm on each piece so that it’s easier to move around, that way if you have to rearrange it, you’re not pulling up the entire piece, just a single arm!
Then I lined up my sentiment and stamped it out – I didn’t want to stick down that star piece yet just in case I needed to move it further up or down on the card, depending on how my sentiment stamped out! Luckily these magnets are super strong and I could use them to hold down all the pieces together!!
The last thing I did was to tack down that strip with the stars. I am so happy with how it came out because I got to use a punch I rarely break out (I find myself using my circles and squares more often than shapes like this!) and it was such a simple and sweet card to make!
Thanks so much for stopping by!! Make sure to stay up to date with the latest news and sales on the CutCardstock Facebook Page!!
