Classic Gold Wedding Suite

I got a request from a CutCardStock customer, Vicki, for a custom wedding suite design. She needed a wedding invite, response post card and thank you post card, and she needed them quick!  Her wedding is planned for September 1st, so we needed to get a designed nailed down and get them printed over just a few days. Luckily CutCardStock not only does an excellent job, but they seem to do it in record speed. 

In addition to needing them done quickly, Vicki wanted a timeless design with gold accents, a monogram, and a gold border around the edge. Since CutCardStock’s gold and silver paper was on sale this month, I recommended doing the invite on ivory/off white paper and then mounting it on either gold foil paper or gold glitter paper. 

Here’s what was used for these pieces: 

Invites – Cougar Natural 100lb Cardstock 

Gold Foil – Bright Foil 10pt Cardstock

Gold Glitter Paper – CCS Gold Glitter 54lb Text Weight Paper 

All the pieces were printed and cut by CutCardStock as a custom print order.

After looking at the printed proofs we received from CutCardStock we opted to go with the Glitter Paper for the border. Since the RSVP and Thank You are postcards, we didn’t do a boarder on those. We finalized the custom order and got them printed in no time.
