You Are The Best
Hi Crafters!
I love the bright colors of the Pop Tones cardstock so I wanted them to be the focus of my card.
I started by stamping multiple flowers on to the Pop Tones cardstock in Razzleberry and Red Hot. Then I stamped some leaves onto three different colors of the Pop Tones cardstock- Limeade, Sour Apple Green, Jelly Bean Green. I stamped all of my images with Memento Tuxedo black ink.
I was not sure how many flowers or leaves I would need for my card so I stamped a few more then I thought I would use. Then I fussy cut them out if you have stamps with matching dies you could just die cut them out. I like to fussy cut I enjoy it it is really relaxing to me.
I took a White cardstock and trimmed it down to 11″ X 4 1/4 and scored it down the middle to form my finished card base. I loved the black and white pattern paper from the WeR Memory Keepers 6X6 paper pad so I trimmed it down to 5 1/2″ X 4 1/4″
Then with two different circle die cuts I cut a circle out of my base and pattern paper. I used a little bit smaller die for the card base and a little larger die for the pattern paper so their would be a little border around the edge.
I placed my card in to my stamp platform with the bottom and side lined up with the bottom and left side of the stamp platform. I shut my card and placed my stamp in the center of the circle to get the right placement then opened my card to stamp the sentiment.
I attached the pattern paper to the front of the card base.
Then using Foam Adhesive Circles on some of the flower and double sided tape on others I attached the flowers and leaves around the circle opening.
