For Mom
Hello my crafty friends! Mother’s Day is coming soon. Are you ready to send your handmade love to mothers / grandmothers in your life? I created this card for a mother’s day card exchange event held by my crafty friends’ group. I’m so grateful to be part of this group and learned so much from those lovely ladies!
First die-cut the “Mom” sentiment using the POW glitter paper in gold. I love the warm golden color of this glitter paper. It’s great for all kinds of sentiments like “Happy birthday”, “Congrats”, “Get well soon” etc.
Then layer-stamp the roses and leaves on to the Classic Crest Solar White Cardstock. And die-cut them out.
For the background, ink blend blue and purple on the Curious Metallic Cryogen White Cardstock to hint for the blue sky in the background.
Stamp “Everything I am you helped me to be” on to the background using a stamping tool.
Position all pieces as you’d like and glue them to the background. I used foam tapes at the back of “Mom” and the rose to raise the height to give it a little bit of 3D feel.
Stunning! What a gorgeous card for Mom!!
