Hi Friends!! kel here today 🙂 with a super fun envelope project!
I started with some BEAUTIFUL Stardream Metallic Cardstocks. I absolutely LOVE the shine to this cardstock, and decided to take a chance with the stamp ink and Copic Marker !!
After punching and scoring my envelopes (I made two just in case I messed up!)…
I stuck down some scratch paper with some washi tape so that I could stamp on the front of the envelope without it going over the edges onto the flaps.
And then I stamped away using one of my favorite all-time floral stamps!
See how the washi and scratch paper masked off that corner so nicely!! I also added the sentiment stamp after the fact… I thought it was a nice finish for the bottom of the envelope, and the recipient definitely knows what kind of card to expect!!
Then I heat set the stamped images… This black ink is the one I usually use for Copic coloring but since this paper is more slick, I wasn’t sure how the ink would take. After I heat set the ink, I made sure to blot the stamped image a little bit to make sure it wouldn’t smudge too much!!
Adhere the flaps together and then you have an envelope ready to go!!
Thanks so much for stopping by!! Make sure to stay up to date with the latest news and sales on the CutCardstock Facebook Page!! lovies, =o) kel
