Hello Card stock fans! It’s Lisa Lahiff here with you today and I have a fun home decor piece to share with you. Monograms have never gone out of style, and they are a staple in homes everywhere. This easy DIY Monogram Pennant is both stylish and fun to hang on a door on the back of wedding chairs, or more. Here is a step by step tutorial on how to re-create this look for your own personal use…
Step 2: I measured the Blue Raspberry card stock and found the center point making a mark at the bottom of the card stock. I then measured up 3″ on each side and made a mark again with my pencil. These are the lines that I used to cut the bottom of my pennant shape.
Step 3: Next, I used my Cricut® Air Machine to cut out my Monogram and Wreath designs. (Monogram was cut from the Elizabeth Font and the Wreath is from the Sweethearts Cartridge)
Step 4: I then layered my cuts onto my pennant with Tombow Multi Mono Liquid Glue.
Step 5: Make your pennant holder. To create mine I used two lollipop sticks and glued them together with hot glue before gluing my ribbon along one side. (This step doesn’t look pretty, but it will be covered up in the end so it really doesn’t matter)
Step 6: I curved the top of my pennant with my hands around my holder and then hot glued this to the holder.
Step 7: (optional) I added sequins to my pennant for added shine and interest.
