Glow-In-The-Dark Creepy Gift Bag

TRICK OR TREAT!

Delight your young trick-or-treaters with this spooky glow-in-the dark treat bag.
The Materials
I used paper from Cut Card Stock called Glama Translucent Paper
to create the spider web.  I chose a fairly thick paper because I wanted to
paint it with glow-in-the-dark paint.  It is a bit tricky to fold and cut; however if you use a bone folder, and heavy-duty scissors, you can do it!
Follow the instructions below for folding a 7″ square piece of translucent paper.

Once the paper is cut, carefully unfold the paper to reveal a spider web.  If it looks like a snowflake, save it for Christmas and try again!
Paint the spider web with glow-in-the-dark paint or add glitter or whatever you’d like to embellish the web.
After the web has dried, I calligraphed the names of the children on the bottom of black treat bags.  I punched a hole through the top of the folded bag, filled it with candy and small toys and affixed the web with string.
To create the creepy spider, I used 6 pieces of black pipe cleaners.  See the instructions in the photo for assembly.
After the google eyes are affixed, I attached the string to the back of the spider.
Lastly, I charged the web with a bright lamp light so it will glow nicely in the dark!
Happy Halloween!
