Are you planning a wedding and need ideas for simple favors? What better time than Spring for a fun garden theme! It’s Annie and I’m back today with some wedding inspiration using gorgeous Curious Metallic Cardstocks from CutCardStock.
There are plenty of colors to choose from in the CutCardStock Store to fit your wedding’s specific theme, but I chose neutrals today so that you could easily incorporate these favors into any palette. Curious Metallic Galvanised is most similar to the color of a typical watering can and Curious Metallic Ice Silver is a beautiful cool, shimmery cardstock that coordinates with it perfectly. I also chose Cryogen White cardstock because it offers subtle shimmer and a smooth finish that works beautifully for stamping and inking.
Die-cut and emboss flowers and butterflies using Curious Metallic Cryogen White cardstock. Apply different colors of ink to the cardstock with a sponge dauber to create multi-colored shimmery embellishments.
Stamp an appropriate sentiment onto strips of Cryogen White cardstock (“Thanks a Bunch” would work well for these too!). Trim one end of the strip into a fishtail with scissors and then curl the strip with your fingers to create a wavy banner.
Place a seed packet into each favor box. I used wildflowers for mine, but you can always make your favors coordinate with the flowers you chose for your wedding!
Embellish your favors with the inked die-cuts and sentiment banner. Use Tombow Mono Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue to adhere the banner and leaves and foam tabs to adhere the flowers and add some dimension.
I hope you enjoyed this fun springtime wedding favor idea and thanks so much for stopping by today. Be sure to visit the CutCardStock store to purchase any of the supplies showcased today and remember that Curious Metallic Cardstocks are on sale this month!
With Mother’s Day just around the corner and nature finally starting to wake up from its long winter’s nap (in my area anyway!), I thought it was the perfect time to create a bold floral card. This project is clean and simple but boasts a bit of elegance thanks to the gorgeous glitter and shimmer…

I like to get a jump on little Halloween crafts, so I am stocking up during the 12 x 12 sale this month at CutCardStock. One of the fun little goodies I am making is this easy to make memory game. This is a project that can be mass-produced if you want to make it for…
Today was all about creating some quick cards. I created several backgrounds pretty quickly using a new stamp set without removing it from the acetate. Using different ink colors, I got four different looks from a similar panel. For the background panel, I used Bright White Classic Crest 80# Cover Card Stock. I like using…
What a great presentation and great idea of using the water can to gift some seed packets. I have to remember for when I get my seeds I can share them in a pretty watering can too.Tfs.
My wife and I are both from the South (GA and SC), and we wanted a true southern wedding. We couldn't have picked a better place! The food and service at Los Angeles wedding venues are superb. This is the closest as I've found since moving.
